Ποιος MILCHO LEVIEV, ΒΙΚΥ ΑΛΜΑΖΙΔΟΥ, ΓΡΗΓΟΡΗΣ ΣΗΜΑΔΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ Που ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΤΙΚΟ ΚΕΝΤΡΟ "ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΣ" (Εθνικής Αμύνης 1) Πότε ΠΕΜΠΤΗ 9 ΑΠΡΙΛΙΟΥ 2009 στις 9μμ

MILCHO LEVIEV, BΙΚΥ ΑΛΜΑΖΙΔΟΥ, ΓΡΗΓΟΡΗΣ ΣΗΜΑΔΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ Ο Milcho Leviev ζει εδώ και τριάντα χρόνια στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Κέρδισε δύο φορές το βραβείο Grammy, μία για την καλύτερη ενορχήστρωση του «Confirmation» του Charlie Parker, το οποίο ηχογραφήθηκε από τους Manhattan Transfer και μία με την ορχήστρα του Don Ellis. To κουαρτέτο του έχει βραβευθεί ως Best Combo of the Year. Αφότου κέρδισε βραβείο στο φεστιβάλ του ΜONTREUX, πολλοί ενθουσιασμένοι από τις παραστάσεις του- μουσικοί, του ζήτησαν να συνεργαστεί μαζί τους. Εχει συνεργαστεί πολλές φορές με τους Billy Cobham, Al Jarreau, Roy Haynes, Art Pepper, Dave Holland κ.ά .Εκτός από ερμηνευτής είναι και συνθέτης και πειραματίζεται αυτή την περίοδο με τη Βουλγάρικη παραδοσιακή μουσική . Είναι λέκτορας στη σύνθεση και στον αυτοσχεδιασμό στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Καλιφόρνια. Είναι σκέτη απόλαυση να παρακολουθεί κανείς τον Milcho Leviev επί σκηνής, αφού ο τρόπος που παίζει, ενώ παράλληλα συντονίζει κατά στιγμιαία βούληση όλους τους μουσικούς είναι μοναδικός. Και εκεί ακριβώς φαίνεται όχι μόνο η δική του αξία, αλλά και των υπολοίπων μουσικών που τον πλαισιώνουν, αφού πρέπει να ανταποκρίνονται με αντανακλαστική ετοιμότητα στην άκρως απαιτητική διεύθυνσή του. Η Βίκυ Αλμαζίδου είναι μια εν δράση τραγουδίστρια με πολυετή εμπειρία. Τα τελευταία 12 χρόνια ασχολείται αποκλειστικά με την jazz και ethnic σκηνή. Συμμετέχει ενεργά σε πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις, φεστιβάλ και συναυλίες, στην Ελλάδα όπως επίσης και στο εξωτερικό (Δημήτρια Θεσσαλονίκης - Ελλάδα, Jazz peak και Bansko Jazz Festival-Βουλγαρία, Μέγαρο Chaikovsky – Μόσχα κ.α.). Κριτική επιτροπή (ΤΡΑΓΟΥΔΙ): Μέλος της κριτικής επιτροπής σε φεστιβάλ και σχολές όπως Discovery, Sumen, Τέρνοβο, Karaoke club (10ετή απασχόληση). Το 2005 βραβεύτηκε με την «ΧΡΥΣΗ ΠΕΝΝΑ» από το υπουργείο πολιτισμού της Βουλγαρίας, για την καλύτερη παραγωγή και ερμηνεία (cd Quiet Love). Ο Γρηγόρης Σημαδόπουλος διπλωματούχος πιανίστας από το 1995 (Berkley College of Music), αποτελεί ενεργό μέλος στη σκηνή της τζαζ της Θεσσαλονίκης, πάνω από μία δεκαετία. Επίσης , διπλωματούχος από το Royal Academy Of Music του Λονδίνου, συμμετέχει σε διάφορα τζαζ σχήματα της πόλης και παράλληλα διδάσκει σε δημοτικά και ιδιωτικά ωδεία της Θεσσαλονίκης και Καβάλας. Πολλές εμφανίσεις σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό, αποτελεί μέλος του Jazz Quartet του Chico Freeman.
